How to Run Internet on Several Systems with Only 1 LAN Cable. There may be situation when your router or modem doesn’t support Wi-Fi and you are having only one LAN cable but want to use internet on many systems. Well don’t worry. You can still use internet on several systems by creating an Adhoc Network.

An Adhoc network is also known as Computer to Computer network. Basically it is used for connecting many computers with each other.

What we are going to do is, we will create an ad hoc network on one system and share the connection to be used by many systems. Follow the below steps on how to create an Ad Hoc network.

1). Open Network and Sharing Center from your control panel.

2). Click Set Up A New Connection or Network.

3). From the list choose: Set Up A Wireless Ad Hoc ( Computer To Computer ) Network.

4). Click Next.

5). Now it is asking you to give a network name and security key.

6) Give it any network name of your choice and a strong security key. On security type option choose: WPA2 as this is much stronger encrypted security key.

7). Click Save this network and then click next.

8). Finally it will say that your network is ready to use. Click close and you are done. You can see your network status from network icon on taskbar.

9). There is still one more thing you need to configure before using the internet on several systems.

10). Once again go to your network connections and click Change Adapter Settings. Select both Local Area Connection and Wireless Network Connection simultaneously. Right click with your mouse and select Bridge Connections.

11). Finally after bridging your connections your internet is ready for other systems.

12). Now go to other system and search for available network. Select the network you just created and give your security key.

13). Similarly do it on other systems also.

I’m impressed, I need to say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s each educative and entertaining, and let me let you know, you might have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is excellent; the difficulty is one thing that not sufficient people are talking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my seek for one thing relating to this.
