If you are not ranking well in search queries, it is not a fault of the search engines. Search engines are not yours or your blogs’ enemies. But there is one of the biggest enemy of your blog or website which may not be letting your blog move up in the search results. That enemy is your copied content.

A copied article can drastically prove many bad consequences for your blog. Not only Google will decrease the PageRank of your blog but almost all search engines will put you down in the active search results. In some cases your blog may also get banned from certain search engines. And hence prove a great disaster for your search traffic.
Today, there are so many blogs present and so many joining each single day. With many new blogs, even new writers and editors are taking birth to enter this blog community. Thus, it becomes very difficult to post new articles with new original content every day. And hence many bloggers perform this silly mistake of copying someone else’s article and publishing on on their own blog. With this copy content; the blog suffers the plagiarism penalty.
Recently Goggle had introduced a new update on search algorithms – Panda Update and Pengiun Update. With both the algorithms, Google had clearly mentioned that any website whose content will be found plagiarized will get the penalty in terms of ranking and positioning and ultimately traffic. If you are also among those copycats, consider it as a deadly warning for your blog. Stop copying it immediately.
These days, lots of people keep sending me their great articles to publish on this blog. And therefore I always keep checking about any plagiarism in the articles that I receive. As a blog admin and writer, it becomes my sole responsibility to first cross verify about any plagiarism found in the article before publishing it. If you are also a blog admin or a publisher, I advise you to start using the plagiarism checking tools from now onwards.
